Essex County College (ECC) Options are issued every semester to deliver information to residents of Essex County about courses offered at the college and opportunities for students within the county. The most recent fall semester issue features the graduates of the class of 2013, and I was fortunate to be part of it. On May 2013, I received a call from the department of Marketing and Communications asking me to stop by their photo-shoot. I readily said yes. Once I arrived, I was asked to dress up in a graduation gown and they started taking pictures of the graduates inside the campus. They explained to us that they will be taking the best shots and including them in the magazine. Fast-forward two months later, they started mailing the magazines to Essex County residents. As I was picking up my mail, I was astounded when I saw myself in the front cover of the magazine, as did some of my friends who proceeded to call me with their excitement. It truly was an interesting experiencing.
