Can You Hear Me Now?
Marry Effective Communication with Social Media Strategies
According to a survey of technical experts, 90 percent of marketers say that social media marketing has increased exposure to their business. And 71 percent of consumers who have a positive social media experience with a brand will recommend it to others. Additionally, 21 percent of consumers say they are more likely to buy from companies they can reach on social media. So, it stands to reason that social media can enhance your brand and ultimately bring more customers to your business. It’s just a matter of deciding which platform to use and how to use it.
Following are several ideas for planning or restructuring your social media strategy:
Select the platforms that work best for the clients you want to reach.
You don’t need to be on every social media platform. Social media requires consistent and specific content to communicate effectively with your audience. It’s better to zero in on one or two channels instead of five or six. Remain consistent.
Be diligent about posting.
They say that social media is a beast that has to be fed. Trust me, that is true. The effectiveness of social media is the product of your dedication to providing content and engaging with your audience. Design a strategy for developing content to speak directly to your intended audience. Showcase your expertise and stick to it. If you don’t think you have the time, consider hiring Impact, and we’ll supply engaging content to your audience.
Share likeable content.
The Internet provides a plethora of information on everything we may need to know. So, make sure that you provide substantive content. Be a source of generous information and allow your audience to feel that you’re the best resource for content. But don’t give away too many secrets. Try to find a happy medium to encourage folks to come back for more.
Respond to your audience.
As your followers increase, so will comments, suggestions, and complaints. Make sure that you have a system in place to address them all. Engagement makes platforms effective for business growth. Remember to prepare yourself to respond to all communication.
