Father’s Day
This Father’s Day, we owe extra gratitude and appreciation to the fathers and father figures in our lives. Fathers are facing incredible challenges, and many continue to work as essential employees and care for their families. These wonderful men deserve to know they are loved and appreciated. At Team Impact, we honor fathers around the world as we pay tribute to the impactful fathers and essential workers in our lives.
Impact’s digital marketing manager Ka’Bre Dennis shares the story of her father, Harold Dennis:
Born and raised in Newark, NJ, my dad Harold has worked in the culinary industry for over 20 years. His passion for food stems from the taste of a good meal and the joy of seeing others’ faces after tasting his creations. Harold works as a chef in one of Newark’s major hospitals. As an essential worker, he faithfully provides meals for both patients and staff during the COVID–19 pandemic.
This Newark native selflessly dedicates himself to helping his community and feeding those in need. Every Fathers’ Day my family surprises him with a new kitchen gadget, which he puts to good use cooking for us and others.
