Super Bowl XLVIII was held in East Rutherford, NJ in 2014. This was the first outdoor, cold weather game. It was also the first time that Super Bowl Media Day was held outside of the stadium. In fact, Media Day was held in an entirely different city — Newark, NJ.
Impact, located in northern New Jersey, was brought on board to develop positioning language for Super Bowl XLVIII Media Day 2014. The language was designed to identify pillars that would positively position the unique and unexpected entertainment, educational and cultural opportunities in the City of Newark, NJ.
These key messages were designed to generate interest amongst international and domestic media members and regional football fans that would be attending Super Bowl XLVIII Media Day 2014 in Newark.
