Celebrate Women Firsts

Celebrating Women Pioneers with Time’s Firsts List

Have you seen Time Magazine’s Firsts List for this year? Launched by Kira Pollack, Time’s creative director of photography and visual enterprise, the multimedia series captures portraits and stories of women who have cracked the glass ceiling in their fields. The multicultural collection of 25 women represent a multitude of industries, ages, and backgrounds, ranging from Ursula Burns, Chairwoman and former CEO of Xerox, and first African American woman to run a Fortune 500 company, to Rita Moreno, the first Latina to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony, to Michelle Phan, the first woman to build a $500 million company from a web series.

As a minority-woman owned small business that makes a big impact, we relish every opportunity to lift women up and trumpet their professional accomplishments. The women profiled in the 2017 Firsts List lend direction, advice, and inspiration to women and girls all over who need to see the endless possibilities life holds.

Check out the full list, and let us know on Facebook or Twitter which honoree you most identify with, with the hashtag #SheIsTheFirst. Join us in saluting all the women, on this list and otherwise, who are paving paths to progress for all.
